Aug 2nd 2010

Hey,
Well it has been a good week in Hampton. We have gotten to talk to alot of people. Alot of appointments we had last week got pushed back to this week and even next week so we are looking forward to those. Its weird how on a mission if an appointment gets pushed back a week it seems like it is a huge amount of time but really a week is not that long. I guess when you only have at least 6 weeks to be somewhere and you lose a week of time of being able to teach someone it seems like alot. Happy Birthday Annette. Sounds like you had a fun birthday party. Have a good day tomorrow too on your official birthday. It has definitely cooled down here the past couple days. It has been fun. On thursday we got blasted with a rain storm. The water was very deep everywhere. It was raining super hard for like two hours, and there were cars that were stranded on raods because it got so deep they couldnt go anywhere. It was almost up to our knees in the deep spots of the road where the drains are. We stayed inside for most of it but afterwards we went out and rode in it. our feet were under the water while we were pedaling. It was fun. And I guess there was a tornado warning which added to the excitement but I dont think there was one.

Ok so I actually made a list of ideas for my birthday. Please dont think you should get all of them or even any of them, they are just ideas.
-There is a mormon tabernacle Choir cd called Come thou fount of every blessing that I really like.
-I could use some dark blue and some dark brown pants. The cheapest pairs you can find, Walmart has some for like 10 dollars, and my size is 34X34 or 34x36.
-And also the church puts out a set of cds for each general conference that has all of the talks on them, I would really to get the set for this last conference. I like listening to them and they are great teaching tools also. They come in a case and usually it is like 10 cds total for all the talks.
Thank you very much
